"LIMPETS" is in the Old Town in a very old, quaint,
quiet, no-through road where the neighbourhood take pride in
their house frontages and flower boxes.
LIMPETS COTTAGE was 'born' ca. 1910. A little red-bricked house
in the second row of houses around the inner harbour. Just seconds
from the quaint harbour side shops and hustle and bustle of
harbour life.
I have taken trouble and pleasure in the restoration of the
house to keep its charming character, including original fireplaces
in every room but blending in our modern
comforts.
Typical of Brixham, because of the lovely views, the living
area is on the 1st floor therefore I have made a double bedroom
on the ground floor and a Victorian style bathroom along side,
with bathtub with hand shower attachment.
The first floor comprising of a light and friendly little kitchen
with fridge, electric oven, toaster, -micro wave and pretty
crockery.
French doors lead into the charming lounge/dinning room with
large couch, easy chair, gate legged table, chairs. Television
and CD/tape/radio. A colourful view of the harbour is
seen through sashed bay windows.
From the 1st floor hall a door opens up to steepish stairs leading
to the top bedroom with sloping ceilings and a lovely view out
to sea from the small dormer window, this
twin bedded room has a washbasin and a separate private toilet
room.
At the rear of the cottage Is a small, secluded, pretty, terraced
garden and yard with seating area for lazy quiet days.
Hairdryer, thermos flask, picnic rug. picnic basket, large umbrella,
binoculars, iron and Ironing board and at least one adapter
Plug is all at the cottage for your use.
Limpets Cottage is looking for caring, appreciative guests who
enjoy and respect their environment.
Limpets Cottage offers an attractively furnished, very clean
comfortable home in a quiet corner of this small, bustling fishing
port. Boat trips and ferries can take you to
Torquay and Dartmouth. Fishing trips available. Golf, Tennis
etc nearby, beautiful walks and views around the coast and Inland.
Easy distance to the many beauty spots in South Devon. Bus,
boat-hire, bicycle-hire, car parking all seconds away. Beaches
and swimming along the coast.
